• Competed in 13 World Cup events;

• Ranked fourth woman in Canada in both sprint and distance;

• Silver medalist at 2012 National Championship in skate, and bronze medalist in the sprint.

Marshall trains with the Alberta World Cup Ski Academy out of Canmore, a National Development Centre for Cross-Country Canada.

Prizes will be drawn throughout the day with main prizes being:

• X-country skis  with a framed photo  and signed bib of Marshall’s.

• Day of golf for four at Rivershore.

In addition to being on site at Lakeside Insurance for the hot dog sale, Marshall will be in Salmon Arm from July 3 to 8.

Everyone is encouraged to come down and meet Marshall and, for a donation, have a hot dog and drink in the Lakeside Insurance parking lot.

On her blog, Marshall writes:

“This has been a breakthrough year for me and I am so fortunate to be able to pursue my dreams. I would like to thank my coaches, teammates, family, friends and sponsors for your continued support.”
