The Glengarry Skating Club competed in the B.C./Yukon Super Series during Victoria Day in Surrey.

This was the club’s first competition for the season. They took 10 skaters and ended with solid results including three first-place finishes and many new personal bests.

Earning first-place finishes were Jordana McEachern with a personal best (25.99) in the Juvenile Women Under 14 Freeskate, Saki Smith in the Senior Bronze Women Freeskate with a personal best (21.54) and Denielle Powers in the Star 5 Girls 12 and over with a personal best (19.68). Powers also took fourth in Bronze Interpretive with a personal best (33.27).

Results:

Samantha Macnally finished in fifth place and earned a personal best (20.25) in the Pre-Juvenile Women Under 11 Freeskate. Meagan Pankratz finished fifth and had a personal best 28.53 in the Gold Women Freeskate. Sabrina Fortunato finished eight with a personal best of (25.18) in the Gold Women Freeskate. She also finished fourth in the Gold Interpretive skate. Nadia Snyman took eight and a personal best (21.95) in the Junior Silver Women Freeskate. Patricia Fortunato finished tenth with a personal best (21.95) in the Junior Silver Women Freeskate and seventh in the Gold Interpretive Skate. Jocelyn Erdt took seventh in the Star 5 Girls Under 13 Freeskate with a personal best (14.47) and Kaylee Fortunato finished seventh in the Star 4 Girls Freeskate and earned a silver medal in the Intro Interpretive.
