Pouring rain, thunder and lightning. Those conditions didn’t deter 55 golfers from a weekly round at the 108 Golf Resort on July 23.
The 108 Men’s Club members recorded closest to the pin, long drives, deuces and low gross and low net scores.
Deuces went to Jim Zailo, Bill Harris, Matt McNeil and John McNeil in the first flight, Met Boyson in the second and Al Kregosky in the third flight.
J. McNeil fired closest to the pin and Chris Stevens cranked the longest drive in the first flight.
The second flight saw John Coulter hit closest to the pin and Bob Wieduwilt hit the longest drive.
Kregosky was the pin-seeker in the third flight and Steve Randell hit the longest ball off the teebox.
Duane Ney hit the longest drive and closest to the pin in the fourth flight.
First flight low gross scorers were Zailo (34) and Shane Wilkie (36). Kuharski (34) and Lee Hansen (34) shot low net.
John Tomlinson (42) and Ron Vandermay (43) scored lowest gross in the second flight. Low net scorers were Met Boyson (36) and Greg Aiken (36).
Ken Brennan (41) scored low gross in the third flight, followed by Dan Hadden (43). In the second flight, Kregosky (34) and Theo Weiring (35) shot low net.
The fourth flight saw Mike Scorse (42) score low gross, followed by Ron Kelly (44). Doug Johnston (32) and Peter Messner (34) scored low net in the final flight.
