The Victoria Grizzlies treat their fans to a double-header of B.C. Hockey league action this weekend, as the club hosts a pair of games at The Q Centre.
The Grizzlies return to action following the holiday break with a key Island Division matchup Friday (Jan. 8, start time 7 p.m.) against the Powell River Kings. The second-place Kings (22-14-2-0) were well ahead of Victoria (14-20-4-0) to start this week, but every inter-divisional win is important.
The Grizzlies enter the second stage of the season ranked sixth in goals against average with 2.95 per game.
This Sunday afternoon (2 p.m.), the Grizz take on the Langley Rivermen (22-14-0-1), who entered the week third in the Mainland Division.
