The Revelstoke Grizzlies dismal season will mercifully come to an end this weekend.

Last weekend, the Grizzlies were swept in a home and home series versus the league-leading Kamloops Storm. On Friday, Revelstoke was beat 7-3 at home, getting outshot 59-29 in the process. Matt Lucero scored twice and John Jamieson had the goals for Revelstoke in the loss.

On Saturday, the teams shifted to Kamloops, where the Storm ran away with a 4-1 win. Brendan Jay scored for Revelstoke and Jaxon Nohr made 50 saves in the losing effort.

The Grizzlies go into the final weekend having lost nine games in a row and 27 of their last 28 games.

They play the Chase Heat in Chase on Wednesday, Feb. 19, and close out the season at home against the Sicamous Eagles on Friday, Feb. 21.
