Hadwin misses the cut at RBC Canadian Open

Abbotsford golfer Adam Hadwin's run at the RBC Canadian Open came to a premature end.

Adam Hadwin’s run at the RBC Canadian Open came to a premature end, as he missed the cut at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ont.

A rough first round was Hadwin’s undoing – he shot a six-over 78, with a pair of double-bogeys and five bogeys against a pair of birdies.

The 25-year-old Abbotsford golfer bounced back with a one-under 71 during Friday’s second round, but it wasn’t enough, as he finished six strokes back of the cut line.

It was the third PGA Tour event of the season for Hadwin, a regular on the Web.com Tour. He also participated in the Farmers Insurance Open in January, and the U.S. Open in June.
