Highlanders play at home once more

The Mid Isle Highlanders will try to treat their home fans to one more win.
The Pacific Coast Soccer League premier men’s side (2-5-1) plays its last home game of its inaugural season on Sunday (June 26). Mid Isle FC will host Surrey United (4-2-2) at Ladysmith’s Forrest Field.

The Pacific Coast Soccer League premier men’s side (2-5-1) plays its last home game of its inaugural season on Sunday (June 26). Mid Isle FC will host Surrey United (4-2-2) at Ladysmith’s Forrest Field.

The Highlanders were on the road this past weekend to take on Khalsa Sporting (4-2-1) at Port Coquitlam. The home team prevailed 2-1, with Mid Isle’s James Merriman scoring.

GAME ON … Sunday’s game against Surrey starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for youths, or free for youths wearing a soccer T-shirt or jersey.
