Mike Burrows was worth his weight in cold – beer, that is – when he drained a hole in one at the Gosser Golf Tournament.
The ace earned Burrows his weight in beer. He went on the finish 12th at the recent tournament.
Burrows, from Comox, is now a head golf pro in Austria where he runs the Mike Burrows Academy of Golf in Larchenof. Burrows started his career at the Comox Golf Club under Jim Nolan, a source told the Record. He has since been named the No. 1 teaching golf pro in Austria.
