Two Comox Valley boys basketball teams are in action this weekend at the Vancouver Island AA championships at St. Michaels University School in Victoria.
In opening round action today at the Feb. 23-25 tourney, the Highland Raiders (North #3) take on the host SMUS (South #2) at 2 p.m. while Mark Isfeld Ice (North #2) takes on Lambrick Park (South #3) at 5:30 p.m.
The top three finishers qualify for the B.C. championships March 7-10 in Kamloops.
