The Langley Junior Thunder continued their recent trend of falling behind early and being unable to recover, losing a fourth straight game.
The junior A lacrosse team found themselves trailing 9-3 after 20 minutes in what turned out to be an 18-9 loss to the host Delta Islanders on Saturday (May 30) at the Ladner Leisure Centre.
Langley has a 2-7-1 recored in the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League as they hit the midway point of the 21-game regular season.
James Rahe led the Thunder with four goals and seven points while Trevor Chernoff had a pair of goals to go along with two helpers.
Pearson Willis and Dylan Lacroix had a goal and two assists apiece.
The Thunder will look to snap their losing skid as they visit the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs on June 3. They also host Delta on June 4 at the Langley Events Centre.
