The Barriere Youth Soccer Association was doing a brisk business taking 2016 registrations in the AG Foods’ foyer last Saturday. Youth Soccer for U4 to U6 play 10 a.m. Saturdays, Apr. 9 to June 11; and U7 to U13 begins Saturday, Apr. 9 with a Kickoff Festival at Barriere Ridge (tentative start time 12 noon). Practices are on Mondays at the Ridge field or Barriere Secondary field. Games on Wednesdays at the Ridge field, Barriere Secondary field or Clearwater Secondary. There is a Clearwater Tournamnet for U7 to U13 on June 18 and 19. The group is in need of coaches for the U6 age group, team managers, volunteers to help line fields and set up nets, a jersey coordinator and a Gatorade maker.
