The Langley Jr. Thunder kept things close, but could not pull out the victory.

Reegan Comeault scored twice and assisted on another pair, while Nick Stone had a goal and two assists.

The Thunder were also in action last Thursday, hosting the top-ranked team in Canada, the Coquitlam Jr. Adanacs.

Langley kept things close for the opening 20 minutes before Coquitlam exploded for eight goals in the middle period. The end result was a 14-5 victory for the visitors.
