Kurtis Redding scored twice as the Spokane Braves held off the Nelson Leafs 4-3 on Saturday.
Paxton Malone and Kyle Donaldson also scored for Spokane (8-35-4).
Rayce Miller, Blair Andrews and Levi Hulston each replied for the Leafs (18-25-2), which took a step backward one day after beating Castlegar 5-3.
Spokane’s Blake Norman made 39 saves, while at the other end of the ice Leafs backup goalie Curt Doyle stopped 38 shots.
Nelson next visits the Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Tuesday.
