Logan Sawka made 30 saves for the shutout as the Rebels beat the Nelson Leafs 4-0 on Friday in Castlegar.
Mike Bhatoa, Darren Medeiros, Nick Headrick and Vince Bitonti each scored for the Rebels (30-14-3), who have beaten the Leafs three times in their last four meetings.
Patrick Ostermann stopped 23 shots in net for Nelson (19-26-2).
The game was the first of three in a row for the Leafs. They return to action Saturday night for a rematch at home against Castlegar before hosting Spokane on Sunday.
