Andy Kim finished two strokes back, taking second spot in the bantam boys division at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s Ford Series at Swan-e-Set Resort and Country Club in Pitt Meadows over the weekend.
Kim, a 14-year-old from Langley, shot rounds of 76 and 76 for an eight-over-par 152.
Two other Langley golfers — Daniel Hyun, 15, and Willis Lee, 15, — took top spots in the skills competition.
Hyun won the juvenile boys’ long drive competition while Lee won in the same division for the comeback award. Lee finished ninth at the golf tournament while Hyun was tied for 10th with another local golfer, Dobson Ironmonger.
In the girls competition, Ye Ji Lim was tied for sixth and Chaewon Baek was tied for 14th.
