Hunter Hughes scored 31 points as the Southridge torched the L.V. Rogers Bombers 88-58 at the BC High School Basketball Championships in Langley on Wednesday.
Hughes was also one rebound short of a double-double for top-seeded Southridge, which led by as much as 44 points in the fourth quarter of the AAA boys’ match.
Josh Matosevic led the 16th-seeded Bombers with 19 points. L.V. Rogers was outscored 29-9 in the second quarter as Southridge ran away with the game.
L.V. Rogers next faces Duchess Park on Thursday.
