Lacrosse stars picked by Team B.C.

A number of Mission lacrosse players will be competing at different events this summer

Four Mission Minor Lacrosse athletes have been picked to represent B.C. at national and international events this summer.

Dawson Chalifoux and Hailey Taylor are off to Whitby, Ont. for the female national championships, with Chalifoux playing for the provincial midget squad and Taylor suiting up for the bantams.

Local goaltender Trase Recsky will be backstopping the B.C. peewee boys team at the boys national championships in Coquitlam and New Westminster.

At the international level, Adam Vetterl was selected to the B.C. team which will take part in the North American Indigenous Games in Regina, Sask. July 20-27.
