Girls in Grades 3-7 play Friday night at Langley's Brookswood Secondary

Friday Night Hoops is ready to tip off its spring season.

The Grades 3-5 are in one group, while Grades 6-7 are in another.

It is run by Brookswood Bobcats coaches Neil Brown and Chris Veale, as well as members of the Bobcats girls’ program.

Graduates of the Friday Night Hoops program have gone on to win 11 provincial championships — three at the U13 level, two Grade 8 titles and three apiece at the junior and senior levels — in the past 10 years.

The five-session program begins April 13 and ends May 11.

Cost is $60 and runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Each session includes 60 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of game time.
