Langley players back in Hawks’ nest

B.C. Major Midget Hockey League reverses earlier decision, Langley minor hockey players will stay in Valley West boundary

Langley hockey players will once again suit up for the Valley West Hawks in the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League.

The league — which is for elite midget-aged (15 to 17-year-old) hockey players — sees teams formed by 13 geographical zones from around the province.

Earlier this spring, it was announced that Langley will join with players from Chilliwack, Hope, Abbotsford, Mission and Aldergrove as part of the Fraser Valley Bruins.

Instead, they will return to the Hawks, which consists of players from Langley, Cloverdale, Semiahmoo and Surrey.
