Four Langley hockey players make the cut to attend next U16 provincial team camp in July

Goaltenders Alex Rolfe and Boston Bilous, defenceman Alex Cotton and forward Josh Williams are among the 44 players invited to BC Hockey’s U16 provincial camp.

The camp will be held July 13 to 16 at Shawnigan Lake School.

The list was released last week (May 9).

All four of the Langley players were selected in the Western Hockey League’s bantam draft.

Williams was taken in the first round, while Bilous went in round four, Cotton in round five and Rolfe in round nine.

Players were invited based on their performance at the U16 BC Cup held in Salmon Arm April 20 to 24.

The final 20-player roster will represent B.C. at the 2016 Western Branch Challenge against Team Alberta, Team Saskatchewan and Team Manitoba.

The camp features six goalies, 14 defencemen and 24 forwards.
