A look at week three action for Langley Minor Football teams as they hosted Vancouver Mainland Football League games at McLeod Park on Saturday.

After falling behind 14-10 early in the second half, the Langley midget Stampeders scored the game’s final 14 points to defeat the Victoria Spartans 24-14.
Cory McMurchy, who also kicked a field goal to open the scoring, threw a touchdown pass to Daniel Adimora while Kalen McMurchy and Reagan Doucette both rushed for second half scores.
The offensive line — Kyle Campagna, Scott Tolnay, Soctt Miller, Hayden Coss, Keith Horn and Clayton Frohlich — controlled the line of scrimmage and opened up huge holes for the running backs.
Brian Desmarais and Sameer Nasuri helped the Stamps keep the ball moving with clock-eating runs.
Mitch Leader and Ryan Porteous both came up with interceptions for the defence while Jack Westcott had eight tackles.

The Langley Mustangs were dominant from start to finish as they hammered the Cowichan Bulldogs 37-0 in bantam action.
The Mustangs’ Nolan McMurchy rushed for two touchdowns, plus kicked a field goal, while David Dejo ran in another.
The defence scored the other two touchdowns with Tomas Sandberg scoring on a fumble return and then on a late interception, where he ran the ball back for an 80-yard touchdown.
The offensive line of Max Parsons, Ryan Rai and Jason York had a strong game, opening up holes for Jayden Korfman, Dejo and McMurchy.
Dalton Delany also had a good game for the defence, recovering a fumble and returning it within inches of the goal line.
Nathan Lonn, Devin McBride and Isiah Okolli had big games along the defensive line while halfbacks Craig Clarot and Sandberg harassed the Bulldogs all game.

The Langley Broncos went to Cloverdale and delivered a 20-6 win over the Lions in a battle of 2-0 atom teams.
Fullback Jesse Tomica and the offensive line did an outstanding job to spring AJ Steinmann free for a trio of touchdown runs.
The defence was led by Brandon Folkerts and Kaycen Horan, who stuffed the interior, and Tydan Currie tackling anyone who broke to the outside.

The Langley Outlaws and the New Westminster Hyacks played to an 8-8 tie in junior bantam action.
The Outlaws trailed 8-0 with three minutes to go, but Colton Dejong intercepted a pass near midfield to give Langley the ball.
After a couple of runs from Sheldon Gangloff and Riley Hegedus, Azuka Okolie ran the ball in for the score. He also added the two-point convert to tie the game.

The Langley peewee Cowboys fell 33-0 to the Westside Warriors.
Wesley Begg came up with an onside kick recovery while Stryker Roloff had a dozen tackles, including two for losses. Luke Penny, Liam Jeffrey and Trevan Thavonesouk had six tackles apiece.
And on offence, Jack Laurin and Nico Gerussi both had strong runs.
