Fight fans in the Fraser Valley have another opportunity to see some talented young boxers in December.
Fresh off the successful Boxing BC provincials event in Abbotsford in October, the Tournament of Champions, presented by the Abbotsford-Mission Boxing Club, is set to take over the Durieu School building in Hatzic on Dec. 3.
A pair of Abbotsford boxers are slated to enter the ring for the bout, with Carson Dyck being the most experienced in the group. Dyck, 15, has fought 25 times and fights in the 165-pound weight division.
Also representing Abbotsford at the event is 21-year-old Jake Aubrey. The 160-pound fighter has 15 bouts to his name.
Other AMBC boxers participating at the event include: Mission boxers Aaarman Dhillon, Kabeer Poonia and Ivan Boyd, as well as Chilliwack’s Robert Smith.
Doors open for the event at 6 p.m, with fights kicking off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door, and $15 for students.
