Logger sports competition coming to Barriere July 1, 2017

Regional logger sports competitions will be held in the outdoor rodeo arena at the fall fair facility in Barriere

Lefler and his lumberjack crew will be back in Barriere July 1, 2017, to present the first Bull In The Woods Regional Logging Competition.   Admission to the event for the day will be free.

Regional logger sports competitions will be held in the outdoor rodeo arena at the fall fair facility in Barriere on July 1, 2017, in conjunction with a community Canada 150 Celebration event.  The Bull In The Woods logging competition offers up to $10,000 in prize money for lumberjacks and lumberjills, and will be an exciting fun filled day for all concerned.  The ‘Logger’s Stomp’ dance will give everyone a chance to kickback, socialize and celebrate Canada’s birthday.   Watch for more about this exciting new event in upcoming issues of the Star/Journal.
