Chilliwack’s midget A2 lacrosse Mustangs finished their season as the fourth best team in the province.
Provincials were held in Port Moody.
Chilliwack opened Friday morning with a 9-8 win over Richmond.
The Mustangs fell to 1-1 Friday afternoon, dropping a 6-0 decision to Coquitlam.
Chilliwack rebounded big-time Saturday morning, bouncing North Okanagan (8-2).
A 10-2 loss to Cowichan Saturday night landed Chilliwack in the bronze medal game, where they lost 6-4 to Coquitlam.
Game MVPs were Max Leyen, Byron Dargatz, Connor Lovely, Tristan Desjarlais and Brett Gudmundson. Lovely was a tournament all-star and Brayden Galbraith got the Fair Play award.
Other team members were Nathan Giesler, Landon Smith, Darien Maydiniuk, Tristan Dundas, Tyson Kirkness, Cam Campbell, Brayden Hiesler, Brady Barrett, Austin Johnson, Connor McNeill, Clay Corbett and Kevin Werner.
