Mission’s Bryce Fillion qualified for the BC Summer Games in 100 m dash, triple jump and long jump after earning first place in all three events at the Zone 3 trials held at McLeod Park in Langley last week.
The Grade 9 Hatzic Secondary School student ran the 100 m in 11.91, a personal best, 11.12 m in triple jump, and 5.66 m in long jump.
The Games will be in Surrey July 19-22.
