Between Houston and Burns Lake, 13 teams came out to Houston on Jan. 20 and 21 to compete in the Men’s and Ladies Bonspiel, a mixed curling tournament hosted by the Houston Curling club. In the A event, Ken Amonson’s team won against Jeff Cook’s team. In the B event, Adrian Meeuwissen’s team beat Mike Bowes’ team, and in the C event Bill Sullivan’s team beat Karl Shields team. The first six teams won cash prizes.
