Nanaimo rolls over James Bay on rugby pitch

The Div. 1 men’s rugby team hammered James Bay by a 62-8 score on Saturday at May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park.

The Nanaimo Hornets completed their undefeated regular season, and did it with an exclamation point.

The Div. 1 men’s rugby team hammered James Bay by a 62-8 score on Saturday at May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park. The win allowed the Hornets to finish their Times Cup regular season with an 8-0 record.

The side has earned the right to host a home playoff match, which will be Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. against a to-be-determined opponent.
