Pee Wee Eagles are Island lacrosse champs

The Vic-Esquimalt Eagles Pee Wee B lacrosse boys defeated Campbell River 7-3 for the Island championship last week.

The Vic-Esquimalt Eagles Pee Wee B boys box lacrosse team defeated Campbell River 7-3 for the Island championship last week.

The game was fast and clean and hard fought said coach Len Cardiff.

The Eagles qualify for the Pee Wee b Lacrosse Provincials in Kamloops beginning Friday, July 12.

The Eagles, which draws from the Victoria, Esquimalt and Oak Bay catchment, went undefeated in regular season play under excellent coaching by Len Cardiff.
