It was a silver lining for a Langley box lacrosse team.
Competing in the Alan Price Memorial Tournament in Kamloops earlier this month (May 6 to 8), the Langley Thunder peewee B team won the silver medal.
The Thunder went a perfect 4-0 in the round robin, outscoring their foes by a combined 30-10. But in the gold medal game against Prince George, the Langley offence was blanked in a 6-0 loss.
In the earlier games, Langley defeated Kamloops 5-2, blanked North Okanagan 11-0, edged Nicola Valley 7-5 and then capped off a perfect round-robin record with a 7-3 win over Surrey.
