All but one member of the Penticton Pikes returned from a provincial meet with top 10 finishes.
Held in Richmond in late August, Anna Spence placed sixth in the 50-metre breast stroke and seventh in the 100-m freestyle. Coach Elliot Clarke placed third in the consolation finals of the 100-m breast stroke and sixth in the 100-m backstroke. TJ Paisley placed fifth with the regional relay team, while Ann Turgeon took seventh in the consolation finals in the 100-m backstroke. Simon Paisley placed 17th in the 50-m free, fly and 100-m backstroke.
The swimmers qualified for their spots at the Okanagan Regional Meet in Kelowna in early August. While at that event, Annalise Spence set a meet record in the 50-m freestyle and qualified for four events, earning four gold medals. She was also selected for the regional relay team for her division. Simon Paisley qualified in three events and picked up two bronze medals. . TJ Paisley earned a gold medal.

The youngest swimmers, aged 6 and under swim 25m Turtle races. Although Turtles do not qualify for medals, they do get goody bags at the completion of their races. Excellent swims in the Turtle division by Chloe Bouchard, Ryan McMillan and Katie Drobe.
