Dave and Cindy Stutt are letting area horse enthusiasts know that they will be hosting a Horse, Tack and Related Items Private Treaty Sale at the North Thompson Agriplex in Barriere on Sunday, Feb. 19, starting at 10 a.m.
A private treaty sale is where the seller and buyer negotiate the sale amongst themselves, there is no auctioneer, and no sales commission charged.
For those contemplating a horse purchase, this is a great opportunity during the winter months to be able to check out a number of equines that are being offered for sale while in the comfort of an indoor environment.
There will be arena space and an announcer available for the sellers to help present their horse to the public, and all types and breeds of horses are welcome. Cost to participate with a horse being offered for sale is $25 per horse.
Sunday will also be a good time to look at tack and other related items. For $10 sellers can rent a 10’ x 10’ booth space to display their wares, but you will need to bring your own table, saddle stands, etcetera.
