After a rough start to their season, Clearwater resident Bob Mear and his race team turned things around in Williams Lake on May 29 with a win in the 15-lap heat race and a fourth in the 100-lap main event.
The field of cars was very fast with a new track record being set. The difference between the first car and the 14th was only .536 of a second.
“Thanks to my team for the dedication and hard work as we prepare to go to Prince George for race #3 on June 18,” said Mear. “We will keep in touch. See you at the races.”
