The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s Summer Nationals will take over Mission Raceway Park Aug. 18-19.
This event promises to be the biggest of the year as 14 classes of motorcycle drag racing challenge one of North America’s finest race tracks. Spectators will be witness to a full field of Screamin’ Eagle top fuel nitro drag bikes, including the world record holding Ray Price Harley Davidson team.
More two-wheeled action will take place all weekend long with performances by the West Coast Freestyle Stunt Team.
Spectators will also be looking skyward as X-Games competitors Global FMX launch their motocross machines off of a giant ramp right in front of the crowd. As an added bonus, the CMDRA will also be hosting fan appreciation day on Saturday by providing free admission to the public.
The free Trev Deeley Foundation Drag Racing School kicks off the weekend at 9 a.m. Saturday which is open to anyone on two wheels.
Not only will participants learn racing fundamentals from professional drag racers, but competitor fees will be waived for first time racers as they compete for prize money.
