James Rahe scored early, often and late.

And it was his last goal — his sixth of the game — which was the most dramatic, scoring just before time expired to give the Langley Junior Thunder a 13-12 victory over the Burnaby Junior Lakers on Sunday night at the Bill Copeland Arena.

The win improves Langley to 2-1-1 in their past four games and to 4-9-2 overall.

The Thunder never trailed in the game and led by as many as three goals midway through the contest.

Rahe led the way with six goals and seven points, while Thomas Moffatt (two goals, two assists) and Bryce Brochu (two goals, one assist) had multi-goal games and Dylan Lacroix (one goal, one assist) and Connor Abrams had the other scores.

Zach Wickett made 45 saves for the victory.

Langley hosts the Port Coquitlam Saints on June 18 at 8 p.m.
