Mission Rampage took gold at last weekend’s tournament at Softball City.
The Pepsi House Games competition saw the pee wee Mission team fight through a condensed round robin to meet the Langley Dougies in the final, which the Rampage took decisively 15-2.
The first game pitted the Cloverdale Chaos against the local girls. Jordyn Tubbs scored a two RBI homerun while Paige Klleindiest hit two runs with a triple. Kyla Borchert was game MVP in the 12-1 victory.
The Rampage were down eight players in the game against Fleetwood Thunder, and lost 6-1, with Emily Shurey taking MVP honours.
Going into the Sunday playoff round, Rampage were seeded in third, but got off to powerful start by mercying the SSWR Blitz 10-1. The girls faced Fleetwood again, but this time stifled the Thunder 7-5, propelling the Rampage into the gold medal round.
Mission outscored the opposition 45-15 in five games.
