For the second straight week, a member of the Langley Rams has earned weekly honours for the B.C. Football Conference.
This time, it was return man Nathan Lund who was named the special teams player of the week.
Lund returned three kickoffs for 137 yards — including an 80-yard return for a touchdown — and five punts for 21 yards.
It was not enough, however, as the Rams fell 41-27 to the host V.I. (Vancouver Island) Raiders in Nanaimo.
Lund was also the Rams’ primary running back in the game, rushing the ball 16 times for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Langley hosts the Valley Huskers on Sept. 21 at McLeod Athletic Park. Kick-off is 7 p.m.
