Langley Rams running back Nathan Lund is going camping.

The Coquitlam native has been invited to the B.C. Lions rookie football training camp in Kamloops from May 28 to 30.

Lund, a five-foot-11, 180-pound running back had an outstanding rookie season for the Rams junior football program in 2013 as he led the conference with an average of 10.6 yards a carry. He finished with 699 yards and seven touchdowns on 66 carries.

He was also a returner on special teams, finishing with 205 yards on 20 punt returns and 10 kick-off returns for 316 yards and a touchdown.

He attended Centennial Secondary and is entering his second season of junior football, which is for players 18 to 22.

Lund joins another Ram players at rookie camp as offensive lineman Anthony Daley will be attending.
