Langley Rams’ Dylan Tucker and John Beckerleg were both honoured with player of the week awards after their dazzling performances over the weekend in week four action for the British Columbia Football Conference.
Tucker, a quarterback, was named offensive player of the week after picking apart the Westshore Rebels in a 75-16 Langley victory. The Rams are 3-0 on the season.
He completed all 10 passes he attempted, throwing for 352 yards and five touchdowns. Tucker also ran in one score from one yard out.
Beckerleg returned three kicks for touchdowns: kickoff returns of 99 and 88 yards and a punt return for 60 yards. It is the second time Beckerleg has won the award this season. He finished with 187 kickoff return yards and four punt returns for 115 yards.
