Rec hockey players stickhandle against cancer

The Nanaimo Old Knights held their annual Faceoff Against Cancer tourney this past weekend at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

The Nanaimo Old Knights and their friends played with valour at their annual rec hockey tournament.

The Knights held the seventh annual Faceoff Against Cancer tourney this past weekend at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

Twelve teams participated, including old-timers’ teams, casual league teams and a team made up of three local families.

The tournament raised money for the Nanaimo Community Hospice.
