B.C. Winter Games representatives from Revelstoke put on a strong show over the weekend including the first ever Nordic sit-ski golds.
In cross country skiing, Rhys Evans and Emily Suchy led the way with two medals each. Evans won gold in the 400m freestyle sprints and bronze in team relay; and Suchy took gold in 3 km sit-ski distance the 400m sit-ski sprint.
In other results, Gina Cinelli teamed with Evans for bronze in the team relay; Tayla Koerber finished 7th in the 5 km classic; and Kellen Viznaugh placed 11th in the 5km classic.
In judo, Liam McCabe won his first match with an O Soto Gari. Unfortunately, he lost his next two matches and missed out on a medal.
