Halle Moger owned the B.C. rhythmic gymnastics championships.
The Okanagan Rhythmic Gymnastics Club member swept the Level 5 Provincial Junior division, winning four gold medals in rope, clubs, ribbon and all around at the provincial finals in Burnaby.
The event featured more than 150 athletes from across B.C., and also served as a Western Canadian Championship qualifier.
“Halle had a landslide performance,” said ORG coach Camille Martens. “She had the top scores for all provincial levels.”
Tessa Rohatensky is the Level 9 National Senior provincial hoop champion and gold medallist.
Rohatensky also finished on the podium with a bronze medal in the all around. Leah Defeo was hot on Tessa’s trail with a silver medal in hoop.
Defeo also had a great competition and finished second in the all around.
Other event highlights for ORG members (noting top-10 finishes):
Level 3 (Provincial Child):
Dennica Paull, 4th in ball and 4th all around; Madeline Sellars 6th in free; Gracie Cox 5th in rope.
Level 4 (Provincial Novice):

The full team advances to the Western Canadians in Winnipeg in two weeks.
