While the B.C. Hockey League season starts on Sep. 6 with the league’s second annual Bauer BCHL Showcase at Chilliwack’s Prospera Centre, local junior A hockey fans will have to wait until Sept. 20 to see the hometown Langley Rivermen.
The Rivermen will make their Langley Events Centre regular season debut that night as they host the Coquitlam Express.
The 58-game regular season wraps up on Feb. 28.
