Logan MacDonald is a provincial junior cross-country champion.The Grade 10 Sardis secondary school student capped off a dream season last Saturday, beating 201 opponents at the Telemark Ski resort in Kelowna.MacDonald cut through four and a half kilometres of difficult and hilly terrain in 17 minutes and nine seconds.Leading up to provincials, MacDonald captured a Fraser Valley championship and won each of the five meets he entered.Khashayer Effatparvar joined MacDonald in the provincial race, placing 122nd overall with a time of 20.13.The senior race included three Sardis athletes.Owen Wright was 67th overall in the 6.7 kilometre event. Daniel James was 88th and Steven Landriault 119th.Chad Hipwell and Jeff Grenier coached the Falcons.
