Two members of the Trinity Western Spartans men’s volleyball also earned conference all-star accolades.
Left-side hitter Ryan Sclater and libero Tyler Koslowsky were named Canada West second team all-stars.
Sclater, who was a second team all-star last year as well, put together the most impressive statistical offensive season in the Spartans program history. His 4.07 kills per set in the regular season marked the highest average ever recorded by a TWU men’s volleyball player. The fourth-year outside had 14 or more kills in 15 of his team’s 24 matches.
Meanwhile, on the defensive side, Koslowsky averaged 2.66 digs per set and hit double digits in digs in 12 of the Spartans 24 matches.
The team is in Edmonton this weekend for the Canada West final four championships.
The Spartans defeated the Calgary Dinos 2-1 in the conference quarter-finals over the weekend in Calgary.
