On June 11, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club held a gross/net scores event.
Alf Vaagen was the overall low gross winner with a 79 while Barry Wicker took low net honours with a fine 68. There were three deuces with Dave Carleton having two and Jim Donnelly with one.

The Summerland Senior Men’s Club played a one gross/three net scores event on June 18.
Doug Steinke was the low gross winner with a 79 while Heinz Burki turned in an eight under 64 to take low net honours. Five players shared the deuce pot.

On June 16 the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club competed in the Dot Foreman Low Net Tournament.
This tournament has been held in June every year since the inception of the club.
