Trailing 6-5 and down to their final three outs, the Langley Selects scored three unanswered runs to take the lead.

And while the first five innings were back and forth between Langley and Little Mountain, this time Langley did not let the lead slip away.

The result was an 8-6 victory on Sunday at South Surrey’s Centennial Park over Little Mountain.

Langley also defeated White Rock White 15-0 in the semifinals.

They went 4-0 in the round robin part of the tournament, outscoring the opposition 42-8.

The team is made up of: Brad Hazelton, Josh Odin, Jaron Jeske, AJ Rajala, Owen Jenkins, Mac Berry, Brockton Wickins, Brenden Winning, Justin Lannigan, Jacob Baker and Brandon Perry. Missing from picture is Dyson Taegart. Coaches are Brain Winning, Scott Hazelton and Mike McColm and the bat boy is Wes Winning.
