The senior B Nanaimo Timbermen were winners again on the weekend.
The West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association club defeated the North Shore Indians 8-5 last Friday in West Vancouver. Jon Diplock had a hat trick and three assists and Ryan Forslund had a two-goal game. Nick Patterson made 37 saves as shots were 63-42 in favour of Nanaimo.
The senior B Timbermen have won seven straight games and are four points clear at the top of the WCSLA standings.
GAME ON … The senior B T-men play the Langley Warriors on Saturday (May 30) at 6 p.m. at the Nanaimo Ice Centre and then visit the Tri-City Bandits on Sunday.
