Two senior residents of Aldergrove enjoyed successful performances at the B.C. Seniors Games track and field competition in Burnaby, August 22-25.
Frances Steinfeld in the women’s 70-74 age group achieved three medals. In the 400 M run she earned bronze medal, in the 200 M run another bronze medal, in the discus throw another bronze medal, and in shot put Stenfeld placed fourth.
Harnek Toor in the men’s 65-69 age group achieved five medals. In the long jump he was awarded a gold medal, in the 4X400M forced walk another gold medal, in the triple jump a silver medal, in the high jump another silver medal, in the shot put a bronze medal, and in the hammer throw he placed fourth.
