Langley junior A lacrosse team falls behind 5-0, loses 8-5 to Victoria visitors

The Langley Junior Thunder could not recover from an early hole, falling 8-4 to the Victoria Junior Shamrocks.

The Vancouver Island visitors scored the game’s first five goals on Sunday at the Langley Events Centre to hand the Thunder their third loss on four games.

The loss drops Langley to 2-4-1 in the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League.

Bryce Brochu scored twice in the loss while Thomas Moffatt and Christian Bosa had a goal apiece.

Langley looks to return to the win column as they visit the New Westminster Junior Salmonbellies at Queen’s Park Arena on May 19.
