Thanks to some sharp goaltending, the Aldergrove Kodiaks put an end to a brief two-game losing streak with a 4-0 victory over the Mission Icebreakers.
Brenden Sharp, an affiliate player making his first appearance for the Kodiaks, stopped all 27 shots he faced on Thursday night at the Mission Leisure Centre in junior B hockey action.
Thomas Hardy had two assists to extend his lead atop the scoring race in the Pacific International Junior Hockey League.
Colton Precourt, Alex Feighan, Brandon Potomak and Stephen Ryan had the Kodiak goals.
Aldergrove leads the Harold Brittain Conference with 28 points, two ahead of the Pilots.
The Pilots had briefly pulled into a tie with the Kodiaks in the standings on Wednesday night thanks to a 3-2 overtime victory.
Alex Feighan scored twice in the loss.
